The standard recommendation is to visit a dentist twice a year for checkup and cleaning. This allows the dentist to check for problems you may not see or feel, help find signs of decay and treat any other oral health problems. Generally, the earlier a problem is found, the more manageable it is.

Bruxism appliances, mouth guards and sports guards
Bruxism is a technical term for grinding and clenching your teeth.
To save your smile from wear and tear caused by bruxism we prescribe protective splints called bruxism appliances like night guards, bite guards, occlusal splints or biteplates .
They prevent contact between upper and lower teeth and evenly distribute forces as you grind or clench .
Bruxism, untreated, can destroy your dentition.
A mouth guard or a sports guard is a flexible, plastic appliance that is worn in athletic and recreational activities to protect teeth from trauma, damage or injury. We prescribe it mostly for our younger patients
